  • An augmented 4×4 matrix for relatively misaligned optical systems is derived and analysed using coordinate transformation and matrix method. It has been shown that the augmented 4×4 matrix for optical systems which are misaligned but haven't relative misalignment can be simply obtained from the general expression.
