  • In this paper, the numerical simulation for the pumping cavity used for multi-slab solid-state lasers (so called"optical stove") has been presented and analyzed by means of the two-dimensional ray tracing method, and the related experiment has been reported.The results obtained in this paper can be extended to the pumping cavity design of Nd:glass multi-segment amplifiers.

Abstract: In this paper, the numerical simulation for the pumping cavity used for multi-slab solid-state lasers (so called"optical stove") has been presented and analyzed by means of the two-dimensional ray tracing method, and the related experiment has been reported.The results obtained in this paper can be extended to the pumping cavity design of Nd:glass multi-segment amplifiers.
