  • In this paper,the properties of ASE gain flattened of EDFA are studied based on energy level and particle number shifting of EDFA both theoretically and experimentally.The ASE expanded spectrum 5nm and gain flattened 1dB~2dB of EDFA have obtained using a long period fiber grating.The optimum results of EDFA parameters are measured with the pump energy rightly.The relation curve of the usable band width and gain energy versus pump energy has obtained.
