  • The relations between circularly polarized light's refractive rate and wavelength are obtained through the theory of rotation.The refractive rate of left and right circularly polarized light in the quartz falls down rapidly under the wavelength of 500nm;the refractive rate of left and right circularly polarized light in the quartz falls down slowly above the wavelength of 500nm;the refractive rate's difference of right and left circularly polarized light approaches zero above the wavelength of 2000nm.

Abstract: The relations between circularly polarized light's refractive rate and wavelength are obtained through the theory of rotation.The refractive rate of left and right circularly polarized light in the quartz falls down rapidly under the wavelength of 500nm;the refractive rate of left and right circularly polarized light in the quartz falls down slowly above the wavelength of 500nm;the refractive rate's difference of right and left circularly polarized light approaches zero above the wavelength of 2000nm.
