Abstract
The effect of processing parameters on the microstructure and wear property of laser cladding γ/Cr7C3/TiC composite coatings on TiAl intermetallic alloy substrates with NiCr-50%Cr3C2precursor mixed powder is investigated. The results show that the microstructure of the laser cladding composite coatings is refined and the microhardness increases with the increasing of the laser beam scan-rate,but the thickness of the clad coating decreases. The laser cladding coating with the moderate(2.0mm/s) scan-rate exhibits the best wear-resistance under the full dry sliding wear test condition.
