Abstract:
The system structure, the theory and the technical parameters for a 1064nm Mie-scattering micropulse lidar are presented.Based on the experimental results, the overlap factor of the system and retrieve the profile of the atmosphere aerosol extinction coefficient can be deduced.Signals can be detected by the lidar system about 5km far away at night. The 3-D profile of the extinction varied with altitude and time can be received by lidar's day and night surveying, which helps to study the thickness, distribution, scatter and absoption of the atmospheric aerosol.
