Abstract:
A type ⅡB LBO OPO pumped by SHG of a Nd:YAG laser is success-fully operated.The linewidth of less than 3.5 nm and energy conversion efficiency as high as 1.8% are obtained at about degeneracy point.The results are discussed.

Abstract:
The way to gain the high power CO2 laser of linear polarization has been discussed in this paper,and the theoretical study of introcavity polarization mirror has been made too.With the multi-layer film coating,the preparation and measurement of the introcavity polarization mirror are described in detail.

Abstract:
Recently,the "butterfly" high speed laser diode(LD)module of the order of GHz has been developed.The LD module consists of a DC-PBH laser diode,a pin photodiode for monitoring the laser power,a thermoelectric cooler,and a thermis-ter.In designing the LD module,the high frequency equivalent circuits are employed and reported in this paper.The small signal high frequency characteristics of the module are measured,and the 3 dB bandwidth of electrical response of the module is more than 1.5 GHz,the modulation freqtiency is high up to 2.7 GHz.

Abstract:
A new method to produce ZrO2 superionic conductor has been proposed.Under the condition of nonequilibrium,using CW CO2 laser beam to sinter the speci-men of the composite of ZrO2 and stabilizing agents CaO and MgO,a few minutes after the ZrO2 superionic conductor can be obtained. The meastirement results shows that the electronic conductivity of the specimens in the range from room temperature to 1000℃ is nearly same as the products by using common methods.

Abstract:
This paper analyzes the interaction process of laser beam and MOS CCD devices,and investigates the damage thresholds of CCD devices.In the experimental study,using a Q-switched YAG laser to irradiate a CCD device,the heat melting threshold,optical breaking threshold and direct damaging threshold of CCD are mea-sured,and the laser energy threshold causing whole CCD device failure is measured too.

Abstract:
The purpose of the present paper is:(1)to build up a three-dimensional(3-D)model of simulating the propagation of circular Gaussina beam, simple and com-plex astigmatic Gaussian beam;(2)to show the transposition symmetry of the complex wavefront matrix and confirm this property by numerical calculations.

Abstract:
In This paper,the development process and the application of LCVD technology in growing the metal film,dielectric film and semiconductor film in during the past ten years are reviewed.With this technology,not only the conventional de-vices can get the excellent electronic features because of low growth temperature,but also the new structure materials and new devices can be manufactured for using the high accurate thickness control.The wide application prospect of LCVD technology is described here.

Abstract:
According to Sellmeier's equations for BBO crystal,the relationship of phase matching angle of generating the sum frequency effect to wavelength is theoreti-cally calculated.A tunable Ti:Al2O3 double-wavelength laser is used as the laser source and the violet-UV pulse sum frequency laser radiation is established.The experi-ments show the excellent agreement with theoretical calculation.

Abstract:
Under the radiation of 1.06μm laser beam,the Laser Radar Cross Sec-tion(LRCS)of 1″order corner reflectors have been investigated between-50°~50°azimuth angle when elevation angle is 0°,and the LRCS of the ladder-shaped coopera-tive targets combined with corner reflectors have been measured from-64°~64°azimuth angle as elevation angle range varing from 0°~24°by using LRCS measuring system.The angular resolution is 1°.The measured data are reported.The experimen-tal results are in agreement with the theoretical estimate.It indicates that increasing signal intensity and expanding angle of aspect can be controlled by selecting proper com-bined form and ensuring accurary of process.So laser radar tracking is realized in long distance,wide aspect angle under the bad environment. Some influences on the mea-surement are also discussed.
