Abstract: It is still an important subject in hematology how to effectively purge leukemia cell in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.The up to date failure of all pharmacological purging attempts has been promoting the development of alternative strategies.A new clinical method to purge leukemia cell through photodunamic therapy with anti sense oligonucleotides modified by photosensitizer is provided in the paper.
